Cheetos created a new product called Mighty Zingers. When our team tried them during product testing, the tiny Mighty Zingers were all spread out on the table and looked like a bunch of bees… swarming with rich cheesy flavor. We quickly ran the “Swarm” concept by our media department and created an integrated campaign that unleashed a swarm of Zingers on traditional and online platforms.
We worked closely with our digital media department to create an online campaign that playfully unleashed our SWARM on unsuspecting users while garnering a strong .77% CTR. Yeah, that's right I just used a stat. Below is our Youtube and Slate site integrations.
The Swarm quickly became a favorite for Cheetos fans, and even found its way into the popular Battle of the Cheetos game.
The campaign was a great success that got Cheetos fans interacting with the brand and asking, “What we would do next?” So to answer their question, we created an interactive, all knowing Cheeto that could look into the future called: The Orange Oracle.
